Miracle League of Louisville receives $55,000 grant from WHAS Crusade for Children

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It was announced earlier this week that the Miracle League of Louisville is one of 224 organizations to receive a grant from the WHAS Crusade for Children.

The $55,000 grant received by the Miracle League of Louisville marked the 14th largest grant.

Over $5.4 million was collected during the 64th annual telethon, thanks to generous donations from the public, agencies, hospitals, and schools across Kentuckiana.

The WHAS Crusade for Children Telethon has long been regarded as the nation’s most successful local telethon.

Other recipients included Norton Healthcare, Bellarmine University Physical Therapy Program, Uspiritus and Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS).

The Crusade for Children has raised more than $175 million in its 64 years with 100 percent of the donations going to help children with special needs.

WHAS Crusade for Children joins Unbridled Charitable Foundation, Louisville Bats, Dream Foundation of Kentucky, Wehr Constructors, and Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company as confirmed sponsors for the Miracle League of Louisville.
